OUR STORY IN A NUTSHELL
FREYAalt was born in September 2022, as an alternative space for free thinking, producing and exhibiting collectively with emerging artists. Since then, various arts and cultural experiences have come to life for wide audiences in collaboration with national and international artists & curators groups.
The community-focused independent initiative that was initially housed for 9 months in Çukurcuma in Istanbul, where countless new encounters and ideas were held. Today, FREYAalt continues to be present in different structures in motion: As a host, as a guest, and sometimes as the audience.
Our aim and passion are drawn from co-creating alternative opportunities and possibilities for all parties in the arts & culture scene, starting from creatives of Istanbul, Berlin and beyond.
